I would like to thank the Almighty for his continuous blessings, other members of the school management for their unflinching support, teachers who are ever willing to give themselves for the betterment of the institution, very cordial parents and vibrant students who bring life to our campus.
Today, we call our world a global village. We feel shrinking space and time due to advancements in the field of information technology. We have more chances to meet people of different caste, creed and nations, even wherever we are.
Our children have the possibility of working among them and living with them. In this changing environment. it becomes imperative to learn life skills of managing relationship, of working and living with everyone in an enriching manner. This will determine the success and satisfaction of our children in their lives. To prepare them to these emerging life situations, schools can be effective seedbeds.
School provides an opportunity to meet students from different walks of life, to sit in the same classroom with students of different faiths, to play together, to eat together, thus directly or indirectly preparing the students for the emerging global context. During this process, as teachers and parents, we need to become facilitators more and more. A single hand can’t make a clap. When a garland is made of multi- flowers, it has its own beauty. So, let us help our students get rid of their biases, prejudices and help them grow in the path of personal development and harmonious living. May St. Arnold Janssen, our Patron, help us in this endeavour.
God bless you.
